The photographer took unique photographs of a flock of birds, and magic could not have done here.

Sometimes things happen in nature that seem too magnificent to be true, perfect coincidences that clearly demonstrate the beauty and miracle of the world.

One such episode occurred over the Costa Brava in northeast Spain, when a huge flock of starlings began to gather in a shape-changing cloud. This phenomenon is known as “murmuration” and is a truly spectacular sight. Hundreds, and even thousands of birds, move and rotate as a single, coordinated organism, which sometimes takes on absolutely incredible forms.

German photographer Daniel Bieber from Hilzingen witnessed this amazing phenomenon. Experts say that often this behavior of birds is due to the presence of a bird of prey nearby, for example, a falcon or a hawk. What a surprise the photographer was when, in response to the approach of a predator, a cloud of starlings took the form of a giant lonely bird!

It is not surprising that for such amazing photos, Mr. Bieber received a prize at the international photo contest. But the funny thing is that the German did not immediately understand what brilliant shots he had. He was so focused on the photographing process that he did not even pay attention to what forms a flock of starlings took. Just looking at the pictures on his home computer, Bieber discovered these stunning paintings.

In addition, such phenomenal shots demanded considerable patience from Daniel: for three days before this, he could not take a single desired photo. Luck smiled at the photographer only on the fourth day, when he completely despaired of taking at least one worthwhile shot of the starlings.
