Sad photos of what people and climate change have done with US national parks
In Ronald Dvorkin's Religion Without God, the author says that the greatest evidence of a unifying divine experience is the general reverence of people when they see the sunset. Nevertheless, it seems to us that on Earth there are many more places where a person is able to experience true sacred awe in the face of a powerful and magnificent nature. The list of such places, of course, includes US national parks. But our sad photos today prove that even such dazzling natural beauty has merciless enemies - from legions of indifferent tourists to brutal vandals.
