Eloquent photos of how advertising disfigures cities and invades our lives

Jorge Perez Higuera is a 29-year-old Spanish photographer who hates advertising. He believes that people who want to see the beauty around them, think and make choices independently and without pressure, have to make great efforts not to notice the whole avalanche of advertising that hits us every day.

Advertising is everywhere: wherever you go, wherever you hide from her annoying presence, she will find you. The Spaniard says that soon astronauts will meet billboards and announcements even on other planets. As proof, Higuer made a unique project. He traveled to the largest cities of his native country, as well as some popular cities in Europe, to take the most annoying examples of advertising boards and to show how much they spoil the beautiful urban landscapes. Instead of the image, the photographer left only white rectangles.
