Heroes of the most iconic classic paintings take selfies

Before the photograph appeared, portraits were created using oil paints on canvas. And only very wealthy people could afford them, because good artists took rather immodest money for their work. Today, anyone can take a photo of themselves with a regular phone. This genre of photography is so widespread that a separate name even appeared for it - selfie. The Italian artist, under the pseudonym Dito Von Teese, is interested in the concept of self-portrait, transforming portraits of classical painting. In his interpretation, the heroes of these portraits take selfies themselves. And the whole project received an ironic name Classicool. To see the famous characters of the most iconic paintings in the history of fine art, shooting themselves on a mobile camera, is incredibly exciting and fun!
