Touching pictures of a Russian village that remind of a carefree childhood

Once upon a time in childhood, we spent the summer not at sea, but in the village of grandmothers. And it was beautiful: running barefoot on the grass, swimming in the river, pancakes and warm fresh milk. It was here, and not in contact zoos, that we first saw domestic animals, ate berries directly from bushes or trees. It was here on Kupala’s Day that they drenched themselves in the whole street, celebrated Easter with their neighbors, and walked in the summer until the morning until dawn dawned. Our children will have a completely different childhood, and they will never understand the charms of all these things.

Windows decorated with flowers

A neatly made bed, feather bed and a whipped pillow decorated with lace

Carpets on the wall

A wood-burning stove that heated the whole house

And sometimes they even cooked on the stove

Such cozy details

Near the village there was a small forest where you could go on nature or on a picnic

Sometimes we walked until dawn, breathing this delicious air

Cats that felt like full owners

Wooden houses with a log of wood

Friendly neighbor grandmothers

Homemade Milk with Cookies

The river where they ran to swim

Or even rode a bike

Horses harnessed to carts with bedding from hay. Today in the XXI century, it seems that it was a hundred years ago, but no, not so long ago: such transport can still be seen in Russian villages today

And in the store you can still find scores

Carved windows and painted houses that were charming even in winter
