The terrifying wooden bridge in China has recently been replaced with a glass one. The bridge, located in the Hunan Province Geopark, has become the longest transparent bridge in the world. It is located at an altitude of 180 m above the ground, and its length is 300 m. The structure is made of double-layer glass with a thickness of 24 mm. It is reportedly 25 times stronger than ordinary window glass.

An old wooden bridge connected the two peaks of Stone Buddha Mountain. But not so long ago, 11 engineers who worked 12 hours a day turned it into a glass structure. And if before those who dared to cross the wooden bridge were called brave, today the very transparent structure, inspiring real horror, is called the "hero’s bridge".
