Festive Moscow

This year Moscow is best decorated for the winter holidays!

The traditional GUM fair has unfolded on Red Square. Outwardly, it almost does not differ from its last year’s predecessors, even the attributes are the same. The only thing added to the design is the festive retro postcards that decorated GUM this year.

Nikolskaya street is the most beautiful place in New Year's Moscow! Probably, even the street itself thinks that this is just a Christmas dream :)

People stand in front of decorations, like in front of a stage; many cannot hide their delight. The most popular phrase on Nikolskaya is "Like in Europe!" (although many cities in Europe are decorated much more modestly). In second place is the question: "Is this exactly Moscow?"

Tretyakov jewelry has been traditional for a couple of years. From the new - the guards learned not to buzz on a tripod and now do not equate it with the "spy attribute of the competitors of the stores represented here." How can one not believe in miracles after this?

Last year, one head of the barrier tried to forbid me to shoot with a tripod. He was of course politely sent. He didn’t calm down, he even called a policeman. He was sent a second time, already by the police.

Maybe White Square’s guards aren’t so strange either? And then they also looked at the tripod as a weapon.

Ice slide on Revolution Square. Alas, it melted a bit today and was already closed.

Fair on Manege Square. Great place!

The second year at the Manezh appears a huge ball. Unlike its predecessor, it now shimmers with different colors.

As before, you can go inside. They say the ball fulfills desires: D

The Bolshoi Theater in the crown!

Chic Chamberlain

Cozy fair on Tverskaya Square. The hardest part for a photo is to capture a moment without people. There are a lot of people walking, so sometimes you have to wait a long time. I was told there were photographers who, in anticipation of the right moment, managed to read a whole volume of "War and Peace"! :)

Tverskoy Boulevard. They made a huge light tunnel.

Fountain in Novopushkinsky Square

Selfie mirrors instead of faces are a little scary. Remind horror movies :)

But the angels are great!

The fountain in Novopushkinsky Square was made in the form of a huge cake with the sights of the city. In the same style, a fountain is decorated nearby - at the cinema "Russia".

There are two fairs at Pushkinskaya at once - in front of "Russia" and at the Novopushkinskiy square. By tradition, everything surrounds the "Magic Forest".

Fair at "Russia"

I liked the cats crowning the decorations of the fountain here.

As in previous years, the city is decorated as part of the Journey to Christmas festival. This year, for the first time, another festival is held with him - "Christmas Light".

By the way, great news in such a wonderful look Moscow will remain until January 17! Festivals extended to celebrate the Old New Year.
