Paris has the sexiest grave in the world

Pere Lachaise Cemetery is one of the most famous on our planet. Here lie the remains of a huge number of outstanding personalities, including Jim Morrison, Edith Piaf, Oscar Wilde and others. But in addition to the famous "inhabitants" this place is also famous for very unusual monuments, crypts and graves. Against the general background of the original memorial structures, the grave of a certain Victor Noir stands out. She is incredibly popular among women, especially single, and now you will understand why.

As a Parisian journalist, Victor Noir was drawn into a rather murky and dangerous story. The details of the incident have been lost, only the information has reached us that in 1870 his friend Pascal Grusset, offended by the letter of Prince Bonaparte, asked Victor to challenge Bonaparte to a duel. The culmination of the incident was a slap in the face, which Noir gave the prince, after which he grabbed a gun and shot the journalist. The tragedy occurred right on the eve of Victor's wedding.

The grand-nephew of Napoleon III, Prince Bonaparte, the court fully acquitted. The posthumous sculpture created by Jules Dalu depicts Noir at the time of death, when he fell on the sidewalk, dropping his cylinder next to it.

This monument has one piquant nuance - a slight thickening in the perineum, under the trousers. There is no reliable explanation for this detail, but according to legend, when Victor’s body was taken to the morgue, he suddenly had an erection. Since then, the journalist’s grave in the Pere Lachaise cemetery has become a real place of pilgrimage for single women and ladies dreaming of a child. Belief says: if you decorate a cylinder with a flower, kiss the sculpture on the lips and rub its intimate area, personal life begins to improve right before your eyes, and pregnancy occurs within a year. In addition, such a ritual helps with diseases of the reproductive system.

Due to the huge influx of crowds of women who want to try their luck at this grave, about 10 years ago they even fenced the monument, but after active protests and outrage of the beautiful half of the population, the fence was removed.
