The most important thing to do on any trip

I have a rule - in any trip I will definitely go higher ... From the observation deck and terrace of the rooftop restaurant to something bigger and more real ... Namely - flying by plane! Indeed, really beautiful places need to be seen from above. Of course, the Internet is filled to capacity with plastic pictures of everything and everything taken from the copter, but there are special places that you can and should see for yourself! Moreover, a 10-15 minute flight on a small sports plane is quite inexpensive.

Welcome to Croatia! This is my first country in the Balkans where I visited this summer. Now is the beginning of August, it's time to work and plan your velvet season, when there will be much less tourists, the water in the sea is just as warm, and the sunsets are saturated and bright. The best time to travel is by no means a hot summer!

In the coming week I want to talk about Istria, the northernmost administrative district of Croatia. The distances are minimal, therefore, having arrived in Pula, after an hour and a half you will find yourself in the northernmost point of Istria, but it is better to start acquaintance with a panoramic flight on a sports plane, in 10-15 minutes of which such a concentration of amazing views, the sea coast, is already included these towns from fairy tales ...

And if you are an aviation enthusiast, then the place that will be discussed today is a must to visit in Croatia! Aeropark Vrsar is a sports flying club and the only aviation museum in the country, which was created exclusively by enthusiasts!

Flew ?!

Aeropark Vrsar is a 40-minute drive from Pula and from any hotel by the sea.

I flew twice for 10-15 minutes on two types of aircraft.

Private Tomark SD-4 Viper

I flew this type of aircraft for the first time. This is a two-seat light-sport aircraft. The sensations are indescribable, but from the photographer’s point of view, the huge spherical glass cabin gives too much glare.

Familiar four-seater Cessna-172

The flight route is something like this. But small deviations are acceptable at your request. Therefore, study what you want to see during the flight especially, maybe from different angles.

Rovinj. The most beautiful city of Istria ... However, the definition of "most beautiful" here applies to every second town on the coast, but Rovinj is somehow special.

I climbed the bell tower of St. Euthymius Cathedral the day before the flight, and now I saw the city from the side of a sports plane.

The population of this town is only 14 thousand people.

The nearby town of Vrsar. On the one hand, all these coastal towns are similar to each other, but on the other, they are fabulously beautiful!

Porec, the largest tourist center of Istria and Croatia, is located on the west coast of Istria in the eponymous lagoon with a length of 25 km.

Istria has a rocky coast, but along the entire coast there are pedestrian paths and very comfortable beaches. I do not like sand, I prefer pebbles, so I really like these beaches.

I stayed at one of the Laguna hotels - Hotel Laguna Molindrio. Confident modern 4 stars. The Laguna chain has various hotels - from 3 to 5 stars.

On the outside of the bay is the second hotel - Hotel Laguna Parentium, here I had dinner once. This superior class hotel is 5 stars.

Although there are many different hotels on the coast, but they are all surrounded by greenery, there is no wind, very comfortable sensations.

Vrsar airfield is located on the shore of a real fjord.

If you are a fan of aviation and will travel around Croatia, bookmark this place!

Time to plan travel in September-October!

Come to Croatia! This country needs to be seen once in order to fall in love and want to return again.
