"Dreams of a bad city": poor residents of Delhi in the area for wealthy Indians

Parisian photographer Arthur Crestani often visits one of Delhi, one of the largest Indian cities. Once he first visited him on a university exchange program. Then he was struck by the scale of social inequality in India and was interested in the process of urbanization in this colorful, but very poor country.

The Frenchman began to explore these topics, devoting work to them for many years. He focused on them in his master's degree 5 years ago, and today the development of large Indian cities and the enormous gap between the rich and poor have become the main theme of an interesting photo project called "Dreams of a Bad City". As part of this project, Krestani makes portraits of poor Delhi residents against the backdrop of houses where they will never live.
